  2. China is one of the top 5 largest countries in the world, China has the largest population of any country on Earth, with more than 1.3 billion people. If you put 5 people together there should be one Chinese person.

  6. TheGreat Wall of China was built over about 2000 years by several different Chinese emperors, starting in BC 475, to protect the people from their enemies, the Huns. The Wall is a very unique structure that is considered one of the seven wonders of the world. It snakes through the mountains of China for 4,500 miles. That's longer than the distance across from New York to California by about 1,000 miles!

  8. Beijing, the Capital city of China, is the home to famous ancient palaces. This is called the Palace of Heavenly Purity, built in the Ming Dynasty more than 600 years ago.
