  3. 1. CLASSIFICATION: AP-004-910 2. TITLE OF REFERRAL: Revision to the Guide to Program Assessment and Academic Program Review 3. BACKGROUND: The Guide to Program Assessment and Academic Program Review was last revised in 2003. Nearly all departments developed assessment plans and WASC has revised expectations for Academic Program Review. The Proposed revisions take these changes into account.

  4. 4.a RESOURCES RECOMMENDED: Claudia Pinter-Lucke; 2003 Guide to Program Assessment and Academic Program Review. 4.b RESOURCES CONSULTED: Claudia Pinter-Lucke; All DeanS and Associate Deans; Steve McCauley. 5. DISCUSSION: There were some minor editorial changes, rearranging of sections, updating of language, especially titles, removal of irrelevant passages. The revised version is more coherent and current. 6. RECOMMENDATION: The Academic Programs Committee recommends approval of the referral AP-004-910 Revision to the Guide to Program Assessment and Academic Program Review.
