  2. Who is the Poet ?! •Nizarqabbani is a Syrian poet ,He borned in 21-3-1923 ,he is from an old Damascene Family ,he studied rights in Syrian university, he worked as diplomatic in 1945 ,in his poetic career he wrote political ,romantic and national poems.

  3. •Nizar faced many tragedies in his life ,including the suicide of his sister as he was child ,and the death of his wife Balqis during a suicide bombing in Beirut leading to the death of his son Tawfiq , in 1997 Qabbani was very sick and afew months ago hr died in april30 –1998 at the age of 75 in London.

Balqis …Was the most beautiful of Babel queens.. Balqis …Was the tallest of all Iraqi palm trees.She gracefully walksAs if followed by Oryx and peacocks.

Why I like Balqis poem ?! &I like it very much because its full of Feelings and emotions. &also because its describe how was Nizar love Balqis very much and how he be sad after she died . &Its include a honest feelings of love . &The best thing that Nizar spoke about Arab nation in Boldly and openly.

  7. •How might this poet work inspire the arab world ?! NizarQabbani was very popular in Arab world ,and many singers from different times sang his poems ,starting from Umm kalthom and Abd-Alhaleem , through fayzeh Ahmad , ending with AsalahNasri and KazemAlsaher.
