Jardinera: es una tira cortada por la mitad, es decir 0´5 centímetros de ancho y de 3 a 6 centímetros de largo. Paisana: es un corte derivado de la jardinera de 0´5 centímetros de ancho y 1 a 2 centímetros de largo. Juliana: tiritas de 5 a 10 centímetros de largo del grosor de un espagueti o más fino.
