Testing period: A four-week timeframe to test reports and verify queries will start on Thursday, September 3, 2009 and end on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 Townhall: September 30, 2009, 1-2:30 p.m. in 1700 AAB — Conclusion of testing period Implementation Date: A point upgrade (from 8.0 to 8.1) is scheduled to take place beginning on Friday, October 3, through Sunday, October 5. Business Intelligence and Reporting www.reporting.wayne.edu Computing & Information Technology • Internal departmental and shareable Cognos reports that use the 17 changed ODS views. • Departmental processes that use the 17 changed ODS views via ODBC (i.e. Microsoft Access, other desktop reporting tools) • Primarily focus on the 17 out of the 580 views that changed. The changes are primarily in the Student area.

Business Intelligence and Reporting www.reporting.wayne.edu Computing & Information Technology • How do I report a ODS 8.1 report or query problem? • Submit a call tracker ticket, by going to Cognos E-Report Trouble Shooting Form • Please include “ODS 8.1 Testing” in the “Report Name” field of the form.
