What they did – Acts 20:17, 28; I Pet. 5:1-4 • As Bishopsor Overseers (episkopos)to oversee, to Lead and not to Lord. 17:28b; 5:3 • As Shepherds or Pastors (poimainō) to Love and feed (tend), not to be greedy. 20:28c; 5:2 cf. From twenty and five years old and upwardthey shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation. Num. 8:24 ii. From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation. Num. 4:3, 23, 30 iii. From the age of fifty years.Num. 8:25-26 they shall cease waiting upon the service thereof, and shall serve no more: iv. But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle… to keep the charge, and shall do no service. • Thus shalt thou do unto the Levites touching their charge.
