Requirements to venue Location – external infrastructure • Perfect transport connections:- public transport (local, rail, air), - short and direct ways to motorway/highway system • Sufficient parking facilities in walking distance(no shuttle bus service necessary) • Hotels of various categories nearby Joseph Rath - President

Requirements to venue Internal infrastructure and technical settings • Direct connection between exhibition and conference facilities • Generally short ways • Exhibition facilities with at least 2,000 – 3,000 sqm gross- ideally sharing foyer with conference section- column-free- sufficient servicing connections for water, power etc.- several gates to speed up set-up and dismantling Joseph Rath - President

  6. … Requirements to venue … Internal infrastructure and technical settings • Flexible meeting room concept- big auditorium- 10 – 20 rooms for 50 – 150 people (depending on set-up style)- several rooms for 200 – 500 people (depending on set-up style)- larger rooms devidable into smaller sections as need be (separate audio system!) • Daylight + modern lighting system with blinds or curtains for individual dimming Joseph Rath - President

  9. … Requirements to venue Venue services • One central contact for all questions – or at least close cooperation between venue staff responsible for exhibition or conference • Choice of various subcontractors(catering, stand construction, technical services…) • Availability of technical service staff outside 9 to 5 during set-up and dismantling • Flexibility for last minute technical orders such as water, power etc. (which many exhibitors tend to forget in advance) • Availibility of English-speaking service staff during show-time (technical equipment, catering ...)   10. … Requirements to venue Rates, conditions & package offers • Competitive rates for meeting facilities and catering packages compare: hotel venues offer comprehensive event options with meeting room hire included in a catering service package fee per attendee, cutting organizer production costs considerably • Packages for technical equipment of different levels for meeting rooms • No extra charge for use of infrastructure such as escalators, walk ways… • Option for last minute change or cancellation of non-needed meeting facilities Joseph Rath - President
