  1. The Quiz is Coming Thursday!I know I’m not here, but Mr. Lang is a bio teacher too! Concepts and Content for Quiz: • Parts of the Cell Cycle and what happens in each. • Control of the cell cycle and cell division is important (every cell has a job and it can’t do it if it’s dividing: cancer) • Identification of what cells look like in different parts of the cycle (including all the parts of mitosis and cytokinesis) • The role that gene control plays in taking a zygote and making it into a baby with lots of different cell types.

Lots of options for practice with concepts! • Finish SRY Female activity from last time (answer all questions and hand in) • Cell identification activities online • Various cell cycle activities online • Gene control activity online – Mr. Lang will be meeting with folks who identified as unsure about the last question on the SRY thing.
