Methodology • Web survey was conducted on the UNR campus in the Spring of 2007 • A random sample (2,802) based on the proportion of students in each class standing • 586 (20.9%) freshmen • 614 (21.9%) sophomores • 616 (22.0%) juniors • 986 (35.2%) seniors • 564 students responded to the survey (21%)

  3. ASUN Bookstore • Familiarity (99.1%) • Usage (98.0%) had used

Intramural Sports • two-thirds (66.7%) were familiar with or had heard of the intramural sports program • only 21.6% had ever participated in the intramural sports program (including being a spectator) • half (50.4%) utilized the program at a higher frequency of participating on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, while the other 50% reported using the program twice a year or less

  9. Legal Services • Only about one-third (32.3%) of the 564 respondents were familiar with or had heard of the legal services

  10. Legal Services • Approximately 55% of the 20 respondents that have used legal services reported being somewhat satisfied or very satisfied with the services

  11. Legal Services • Of the respondents that had never used legal services, 46% were very likely or somewhat likely to use these services in the future, while 33% were not.

  12. Safe Ride Program • Half (50%) of the respondents were familiar with or had heard of the Safe Ride Program • 46% reported using the service on a weekly or monthly basis, while another 26% reported using the service approximately once a semester

  18. Campus Escort • Campus Escort service was familiar to most of the 564 respondents (87.1%; n = 491) although • 37% of respondents had used this service

  21. The Nevada Sagebrush • Familiar with or had heard of the Nevada Sagebrush publication (81%) • A little over half had read or used the publication in the past (55.9%)

  24. Special Programming Provided by ASUN in the Past • Nearly half of the 564 respondents reported previously attending a movie series (43.4%), while only about a third reported previously attending speaker events (36.2%), University Week events (33.7%), and concert events (33.2%).
