  7. Our eyes are designed to focus light on our retina. Our retina is in the back of your eye.

  8. Rods & Cones transduce electromagnetic energy… Rod Cone rhod opsin “cone” opsin • Color - “cone”opsin • Light • Dark } rhodopsin …using a photopigments.

  9. The photopigments help to trick us by making you “see” things that are not there!!!

  10. This is called an after-image, and it happens because your cones get “tired”. Cone “cone” opsin “Tired” really means you have broken all your photopigment.
