Video ScrapbookWe are pleased to provide you with this “scrapbook” of video clips taped during the 2003 Annual EHDI Conference and hope you will find the contents valuable for supplementing and enhancing your PowerPoint presentations. The clips, reflecting a variety of parent and professional perspectives, are organized according to eight topic areas associated with early identification of hearing loss including: • Listening to Parents • Family Support & Advocacy • Importance of EHDI • Medical Home • Health Care Provider Education • Pediatric Audiology • Early Intervention & Communication • EHDI Past & Future

To use the video clips in your own presentations, follow these steps: • Double-click on any clip to watch and listen. • To select a specific clip, click once on the clip to highlight it. • Under the Edit menu heading, select Copy. • Move to the place in your PowerPoint presentation where you would like the clip to appear. • Under the Edit menu heading, select Paste. • Drag the clip image to the location on the screen where you want it to appear; adjust the size by stretching or reducing the image.

  4. On this CD you will also find a PowerPoint “Sample EHDI Presentation.” Feel free to use any slides from the sample or to adapt the entire presentation to meet your specific needs by adding/deleting slides and video clips. IMPORTANT: ALWAYS REMEMBER TO HAVE A MICROPHONE OR SPEAKERS AVAILABLE DURING A PRESENTATION TO PROJECT THE AUDIO PORTION OF THE VIDEO CLIPS!
