MATH Measurement: • Students will use a ruler to measure halves and fourths of an inch and tenths of a centimeter. • Next week students will be learning time to the nearest minute and elapsed time. • Math Fluency • I showed the students what the new fluency tests look like from the county. They require the students to answer x and ÷ fact families and typical multiplication facts. It is timed; 20 problems in 3 minutes. Review Week: Vocabulary/fluency. www.mhschool.com/math - Fact Dash. This is important. Hammett Bowen Bear’s News 3rd Grade Field Trip Information SCIENCE Students will identify basic forms of energy such as light, heat, sound, electrical and mechanical. Students will also learn to identify how energy causes or creates change. SOCIAL STUDIES Map Skills- US Regions and States- Label the states in each of the five regions of the United States.
