Information – Deadlines - Events BUDGET UPDATE Federal and State Levels: Uncertainty/Issues UK Level: First Version of Budget Model CES Level: Conservative in Spending & Hiring KSU Level: Limited hiring and travel for Extension Developing MOU with Pulaski for Laura Rogers Administrative Update: Dr. Teferi Tsegayeis is now Associate VP for Ag Affairs and Land grant programs and Dean/Prof of the College of Agriculture, Food Science & Sustainable Systems

Special Purpose Government Entities (SPGE’s) There are over 1500 SPGE’s Focus is on budgeting and final disclosure Online registration is mandatory & due Dec. 2013 Sample form was emailed to Fiscal Coordinators Sections II & IV – CES completes (with/without DB’s) Section III is for Water Districts only Fees are based on previous year’s actual income Deadline for info. is July 1, ‘14 (2014-15 FY) Adopt County Govt.’s Code of Ethics
