Using the information sheets and colours complete the task below: CAUSES KEY EVENTS CONSEQUENCES KEY PEOPLE • Copy down the key opposite in your book. • Go through the information sheet and colour code it to pick out the key information about the Rebecca Riots.

Using your findings you are now going to write a report of this unrest in an English newspaper. • What happened? • When? • Why? • Interview with a witness? • Consequences? • How does this compare to crime in England at this time?
