  1. Educational App! Would you like to make an educational app? If so, design an app that could make science and math easier. What would it be?  If you could design this with 5-7 friends in our 6th grade, who would it be? Explain in a paragraph…

Our School is entered in a National Competition. • Best Education App Concept Team Winner- Winning is based on the App Concept that most supports education and increases the understanding of STEM and/or provides immediate feedback to students. • Best Energy App Concept Team Winner- Winning is based on the App Concept that most supports energy management and instructs users on responsible energy use or helps users track energy usage. • Best Healthcare App Concept Team Winner- Winning is based on the App Concept that most supports healthcare and allows patients to manage their chronic diseases or helps patients identify and remove barriers to quality healthcare.

  4. What does our Community Need??? • Possibly interview parents/grandparents in our community.

  5. We need… • An electronic Essay that describes your App under 1000 words • A video that is attached to an url that explains your App under 3 minutes long • Your authorization form. MUST be in by Friday, December 6th!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!

It will have information about locations of community recycling facilities and their hours of operation. Users will set a specific time of day, week, or month for the app to provide a reminder and offer details of recycling locations nearby.

  8. EMORY H. MARKLE INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL | Hanover, PennsylvaniaApp Name: Voice Notes + • Good notes are essential for students who are working on projects or studying for tests. Those who have disabilities or who can’t write fast enough can use this app to record lectures or notes as they read, organize them for review, and enhance them with Internet resources to provide good study guides in preparation for tests.
