  2. 1 Tim 2:1-4 1 First, I tell you to pray for all people, asking God for what they need and being thankful to him. 2Pray for rulers and for all who have authority so that we can have quiet and peaceful lives full of worship and respect for God. 3This is good, and it pleases God our Savior, 4who wants all people to be saved and to know the truth.   6. Power of the Sword & Rod The purpose of the Sword Punishment of Evil Doers 4 For he [the Ruler] is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Prov 23:13 Do not withhold correction from a boy, for if you beat him with the rod, he will not die. 14 You shall beat him with the rod, and shall deliver his soul from hell.

Characteristics of the Sword & Rod • Sword • Threaten – Injure • Control – Maim • Inflict Pain – Kill The purpose of the sword is for correction and punishment of the evil doer in the community. • Rod • Threaten • Control • Inflict Pain God’s purpose of the rod is for correction in the home. Gen 9: 6 Whoever sheds man's blood, his blood shall be shed by man; for He made man in the image of God.

For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. 2 Therefore he who resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves. Acts 4:19-20"Judge for your-selves whether it is right in God's sight to obey you rather than God. 20 For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard."

Acts 16:37 “But Paul said to the officers: "They beat us publicly without a trial, even though we are Roman citizens, and threw us into prison. And now do they want to get rid of us quietly? No! Let them come themselves and escort us out."

Acts 25:10-11 10 Paul answered: "I am now standing before Caesar's court, where I ought to be tried. I have not done any wrong to the Jews, as you yourself know very well. 11 If, however, I am guilty of doing anything deserving death, I do not refuse to die. But if the charges brought against me by these Jews are not true, no one has the right to hand me over to them. I appeal to Caesar!"

God’s hand in the Law of the Land In ancient times, God, in an especial manner, on many occasions appointed the individual who was to govern; and he accordingly governed by a Divine right, as in the case of Moses, Joshua, the Hebrew judges, and several of the Israelite kings. In after times, and to the present day, He does that by a general superintending providence, which He did before by especial designation. In all nations of the earth there is what may be called a constitution – a plan by which a particular country or state is governed; and this constitution is more or less calculated to promote the interests of the community.

We the People are personally responsible for maintaining and protecting the Constitution and seeing to its enforcement against all foes, be they foreign or domestic.

Citizens’ Power of the Sword Militia of the Several States • U.S. Constitution Article 1 § 8 clause 15 • To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions; • U.S. Constitution Article 1 § 8 clause 16 • To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress; • Amendment II (2) to the U.S. Constitution • A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

  34. Current and past Presidents have signed several unconstitutional executive orders giving his office sole authority to impose martial law, and suspend habeas corpus. Hence the President has dictatorial Powers over the people with no checks and balances. Executive order #11921 Provide that the President can declare a state of emergency that is not defined, and congress cannot review the action for six months. Executive ORDER # 10990allows the government to take over all modes of transportation. Executive ORDER # 10995the government to seize and control the communication media Executive ORDER # 10997allows the government to take over all electrical Power, gas, petroleum, fuels and minerals.

  35. EXECUTIVE ORDER # 10998 allows the government to take over all food resources and farms. EXECUTIVE ORDER #11000 allows the government to mobilize civilians into work brigades under government supervision. EXECUTIVE ORDER #11001 allows the government to take over all health, education and welfare functions. EXECUTIVE ORDER #11002 designates the Postmaster General to operate a national registration of all persons. EXCUTIVE ORDER # 11004 allows the Housing and Finance Authority to relocate communities, build new housing with public funds, designate areas to be abandoned and establish new locations for populations.

  36. Those who do not know their history are doomed to repeat it. • Ecclesiastes 1:9 That which has been is that which shall be; and that which has been done is that which shall be done; and there is nothing new under the sun. • Supreme Court final decision on “Emergency” Emergency does not create power. Emergency does not increase power or remove or diminish the restrictions upon power granted or reserved. The Constitution was adopted in a period of grave emergency. Its grants of power to the Federal Government and its limitations of the power of the States were determined in the light of emergency and they are not altered by emergency.   37. Do we pray for America? Gal 4:8 But then, indeed, not knowing God, you served as slaves to those not by nature being gods. Or do we serve the almighty Worship Seek worldly fame Josh 24:15 … choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served Beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you live. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
