Die Entstehung von Typo3 • 1997 von Kasper Skårhøj entwickelt • 1998 Programmierung von 3 Prototypen • Kommerzielle Programmierung durch Starfish.com • Vorstellung auf der IFRA in Lyon und Zusammenschluss mit Saatchi&Saatchi • 1999 Neudefinition der technischen Grundlagen, Kasper Skårhøj verlässt die Firma und arbeitet selbständig weiter • 2000 erste Beta-Version, OS-Community fügt über 100 neue Funktionalitäten hinzu • 2001 Überarbeitung des Codes • 2002 Erste „Vollversion“ 3.0 • 2014 aktuellste Version 6.2.0
