  2. Tipus de comarca : De litoral. Superfície:995 1 km2.Capital comarcal: Sta. Coloma de Farners.Municipis importants : Sta. Coloma de Farners , Lloret de mar,Sils , Vidreres i Tossa.

  3. Relleu : Muntanyenc de la Serralada Prelitoral.Clima : De muntanya, gairebéatlàntic,fins al clima mediterrani típic .Vegetació: D’alzines sureresi alzinars fins a les pinedes, els reductes i la vegetació.

  4. Sector econòmic: La economía i el mercat laboral. Hoteler construcció,comerç i serveis. Turisme:Ha completat una estructura variada.

  5. Festes populars: Festa major, Sant Sebastià, carnaval, Festa del ranxo.Gastronomia:En termes gastronòmics, la Selva no es caracteritza per cap plat específic, però sí, en canvi, per les matèries primeres com és el cas dels fruits secs i, sobretot, l’oli d’oliva.

  6. çLa SelvaLa Selva és molt gran,fins i tot podem dir gegant.La Selva és de litoral,i quan plou hi ha més d’un bassal.Està formada per 26 municipis,que tenen final i principi.Li diuen comarca de l’aigua,Hi trobem més d’un paraigua.
