  4. CHARACTERIZATION Characterization is the method used by a writer to develop a character. The method includes: • showing the character's appearance • displaying the character's actions • revealing the character's thoughts • letting the character speak • getting the reactions of others

  5. CHARACTER TRAITS • Physical Traits are what the character looks like on the outside. • Character traits are what a character is like on the inside not the outside.
