  2. Simple Steps • Eight side the stock • Round the stock • Apply glue block • True glue block • Apply second and true. • Layout lid. • Remove lid.

  3. Simple Steps …… • Turn lid and create groove • Finish the interior of the lid. • Mount the bottom • Hollow, create the tenon. (tendon) • Finish the interior • Allow to cure • Fit the lid, using wax.

  4. Simple Steps ….. • Bring up the soft touch* • Shape the lid and box • Sand to finish. • Remove from glue block • Create jamb chuck • Detail the bottom of box.

  5. Mount on glue block

  6. True face and add second block

  7. Part off top third

  8. Lay out center and edges

  9. Hollow Center, add recess

  10. Mount base, layout from top

  11. Hollow Center, Sand Chatter?

  12. Create tenon

  13. Add groove for “O” Ring

  14. Add “O” Ring and fit lid

  15. Install Lid and begin shaping

  16. Bring up a “soft touch” tip

  17. Shape lid to suit

  18. Secure lid for finishing

  19. Create a jamb chuck

  20. Bring up a “Soft Touch”

  21. To reshape, sand, finish.
