  6. Reading Ex. 1 Read the advertisement and the letter. Please answer these questions. • What reasons does Li Meiling give for applying for the job? • 2.   35. Speaking A short speech Give a short speech about which of these jobs should be paid best. Follow the stages on Page 31.

  42. Sample The Sport I Like Best • The sport I like best is playing basketball. For one thing, with this exercise, I become athletic and am able to overcome the stress in work. As the saying goes, a sound mind is usually in a sound body. For another, while playing basketball, I get to understand the importance of a team.
