Bakgrunn • Høy forekomst av AD/HD hos voksne alkohol og stoff misbrukere • Voksne med AD/HD har dobbel så stor risiko for å utvikle rusproblemer • Stor forekomst av AD/HD hos innsatte • Pasienter med skadelig bruk eller avhengighet eksluderes vanligvis fra effektstudier med metylfenidat 2Psykologspesialist Else Staw Bachmann

OPPSUMMERING/KONKLUSJON • Heterogen gruppe • 8/25 (32%) rapportere subjektiv god respons på metylfenidat behandling • Alle åtte sto over 1 år i behandling • Viktig med psykososial og individuell tilrettelegging i tillegg til behandling med metylfenidat • Kanskje flere kunne hatt nytte av metylfenidat behandling 12Psykologspesialist Else Staw Bachmann
