Challenges/Opportunities Challenges Opportunities Preparing students to use mobile devices and internet for educational purposes Competition between schools for students are based on academics Students gain experience collaborating with various students Teachers will up-to-date technology training Academic scores increase • Securing funding for technology • Keeping mobile devices up-to-date • Maintaining accountability for all devices • Enlisting 100% parental support • Ensuring teachers and staff receive quality culture sensitivity training

  9. Consequences of Non-compliance • Can we afford… • to fall behind the rest of the state? Country? World? • for students to not be ready for college? • for students to fall behind, despite promises outlined in NCLB? NO! NO! NO!
