  2. Upcoming Events 5/8 Soccer games vs. Westview @ KLMS– Boys @ 5, Girls @ 6 5/9 8th grade Semi Formal Dance @ 6:30

  3. NJHS is sponsoring a Toy Drive for Dell Children’s Hospital • Please donate a NEW toy to help support kids age birth – 19 through B.I.G. Love Cancer Care. • The drive is happening at Kelly lane MS from April 28 – May 12. Bring toys to the main office or to Room 321 (Mrs. Gambrell) • Suggested items: Stickers, coloring books, card and board games, cars, trucks, dolls jewelry, art sets, baby toys, sports magazines, playdoh, etc.

  4. Freshman HHS Summer BASEBALL tryouts are Thursday, May 8 at 6 p.m. you need to register with Coach Reeves asapalsoHENDRICKSON HAWK BASEBALL CAMP for 3rd-9th graders isJune 16-18 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. cost $75 Pick up an information sheet in the Front Office.

  5. Attention 8th Graders 8th Grade Semi Formal May 9th Time: 6:30p.m. to 9:30p.m. Tickets are $10 and will be sold on April 23th, 24th , 25th At lunch only

  6. 8th Grade Black and White Masquerade and Dinner! Info: Girls- A nice party dress, Strapless dresses will be allowed; however, they can not be backless, have cutouts that show their midriffs, or are too short. Boys- Khaki’s or dress slacks with a nice button down shirt, and tie (optional). This does not mean you have to wear black and white. You can wear any color you would like.

  7. Do you want to go to Schlitterbahn?!?Here’s what you need to know!!! When is the trip: Wednesday May 28th When is money due: Friday May 9th (NO LATE MONEY WILL BE ACCEPTED) How much is the trip: $57.50 (cash or money order) for bus and ticket When can I pay: Before school, or catapult ONLY, Tues. 4-29 to Fri. to 5-9 Requirements to attend: See Posters in 8th grade hall or permission slips!!! Once you have paid for the trip there will be NO REFUNDS! If you become ineligible you will forfeit your money!! NO REFUNDS!!!

  8. Need Help with Math? Come to the Math Lab! Open Tuesday through Friday before school from 7:30 to 8:00am in Room 315 Enter through the back doors near the 8th grade offices Don’t forget to get a pass to enter the building before 7:45! To get a pass, just use the email link from our school’s webpage! Send the email to Ms. Phillips and a pass will be automatically sent to you!
