What is the Style Master? • All items produced for sale to customers must have a style • Styles are composed of the style number, a fabric code, a color, an inseam or prepack code and sizes • All prepack styles in RLM have an associated open stock (00A) style that contains the valid sizes for the prepack style • The Fabric Code tells you if the style is prepack or open stock. Fabric Codes for Prepacks are two characters, while codes for open stock are the prepack fabric code + 00A (e.g., N2 for a PPK style, N200A for open stock) • Each combination of style number, fabric and color requires a UNIQUE style master in the system. However, a single style may have multiple prepacks or inseams • NOTE: Some of the following slides will have different screen colors (browns and blues), but the screens you will see will all have the blue colors. Glossary of Training Terms • The following terms will be used throughout this training program: • Field: A box on the screen into which you enter information • Value: The information (data) being entered in the field. Example: Division number, FGPO number • Icon: An image you may click to perform a function such as select, submit or exit • (Single-)Click: Also “Select.” Hitting the left mouse button once. This will activate an icon or select a row in a list of values • Double-click: Hitting the left mouse button twice o the same part of the screen. Used only to select and return a value from a list.

  4. Using the RLM System • These are the primary RLM icons you will use: • Search: Located next to entry fields. Clicking this icon brings up a pop-up window with a list of all possible values for the field (for example, the next to the Division field will show a list of all divisions) (Shift-F9 keys or F21 key) • Select: Located on the Search pop-up windows. You may click on a line and click Select to return its value to the main screen • OK (Submit): Located in the bottom right corner of each screen. Processes the information on screen and brings you to the next screen • Return (Back): Located at the top of each screen. Click this icon to go back one screen (F2 key) • Exit: Located at the top of each screen. Click this icon to return to the menu or close a pop-up (F3 key)

  5. Sign On Enter your User ID and Password here Note: User ID and Password are assigned by MIS. The password field IS case-sensitive.

  6. Welcome Click the check (or hit the Enter key) to proceed

  7. Enter the application number for the menu or click the correct button in the menu at left Enter the application number for the Sales Inquiry menu or click the correct button in the menu at left Select Application Enter the Company Number If you don’t enter a Company or enter the wrong number, you will receive this error: Click OK

  8. Sales Inquiry Menu Click “Style Master Inquiry”

  9. Select Division To Select a Division click this icon: Enter the Division Number here Double-Click the correct division, enter the number or click the line and click

  10. Select Division Enter the Style, FabWsh and Color or click any of the icons to search from a list Enter the season and year in these two fields. Example: F 05 for Fall 2005. Select with the Note: Prepacks and 00As are separate styles!

  11. Select a Style If you clicked the icon for Style FabWsh or Color, a window appears Type the style number in the first field and press Enter to search the list Double click on the style line to select it

  12. Style Inquiry – Page 1 The first style inquiry screen has four parts: The style number appears here Additional information (plant, category, price, description) Valid Size Scales (max of 3). X = invalid size for style Valid Inseams or Prepacks for style are here (00A may have *N = no size or inseams)

  14. Style Inquiry – Page 2 The second style inquiry screen has four parts: The style and weight appears here (16 oz is a default) Selling Price – volume and line (volume is less) HTS (Quota) Number info Misc information (mostly unused) Click OK (Enter key) for the next page

  15. Style Inquiry – Page 3 This screen is mostly used for the Suggested Retail Price Click OK to exit the style

  17. Style Inquiry - Prepack Click “Prepak” (F20) to view more information about the Prepack(s) for this style

  18. Prepack Inquiry The Prepack inquiry screen shows all instances of the prepack code(s) by division and season Double click on a prepack line to view its contents (next slide)

  19. Components of the Prepack The quantity of units by size in the prepack is displayed Click “Display Prepack Products”(F6) to see the styles using this prepack (next slide)

  20. Display List of Styles with Prepack The screen shows all styles with the selected prepack code by division and season X’s indicate whether the style has WIP (FGPOs/Shipments), ORD (Customer Orders), or SOH (Stock-on-Hand – Inventory) Note: If a prepack is on a style with any X’s it may not be changed or deleted. Contact MIS with questions.

  22. Style Inquiry – Price by Prepack Click “Price by Ins/PP” (F10) to view the prices for the different Prepacks for this style

  23. Prices by Prepack Chart The screen shows all prepacks for which a Selling Price (volume and line - volume is less) has been entered. Suggested Retail Price Note: Generally if a style has only one prepack code the Style Entry department does not populate this screen.

  25. UPC Inquiry from Style Inquiry On the Style Inquiry (first screen), click this blue arrow to see the UPCs for the style. (Prepack or 00A, depending on the style selected)

  26. UPC Inquiry: Prepacks This 13-digit number is the GTIN, which is an expanded number that is being used in some areas. RLM automatically adds “00” to the prepack UPC to create the GTIN

  27. UPC Inquiry: Open Stock (00A) Open Stock (00A) styles have a UPC for each size. These UPCs may be used as components of prepacks A “V” in the Status means the UPC has been voided
