  5. Identity in 2015 Statistique for academicyear 2014 – 2015 • 341 students (56 girls) from 20 countries • 15 permanent professors (including 2 ladies) all paied by government • 37 administratifs staffs

Identity in 2015 Material ressources • The campus is 3 hectares equipedwith: • premises for administration and offices for professors and researchers; • specialized and functional classrooms; • an amphitheater of more than 150 seats; • a conference room; • three computer rooms • a language laboratory; • a computerized documentation center; • a restaurant; • a generator; • medical service; • two university residences.

Identity in 2015 Financial resources • The budget is made up 90% of the Ivorian state grants; • The difference is covered by the own resources in support of technical and financial partners of registration fees and tuition; • For 2015, the budget (operating + Investment) allocated by the state to ENSEA amounted to 1,165,999,869 FCFA • A new building is under construction

  8. VISION, Missions, values The vision describes the representation of ENSEA at horizon 2020 Being an internationally renowned center of excellence for training and research in statistics and applied economics, for economic and social development in Africa.

VISION, Missions, values • The mission defines the purpose of ENSEA, its role and its contribution: • Train competent statisticians and economists, according to the labor market needs; • Contribute to applied research in the field of statistics, economy and population; • Ensure capabilities of national statistical systems, business and civil society; • Facilitate the exchange of expertise in statistical training; • Promote knowledge and culture of statistics in all areas.

VISION, Missions, values • ENSEA inspired by values that guide its actions and behavior : • Professionalism, ethics and the search for excellence in teaching and research activities; • Social responsibility with rapt attention to the needs of students and staff, the reward of merit in equity, and the promotion of female talent; • The spirit of openness and innovation in a climate of tolerance and respect for cultural diversity.

Training ENSEA: graduates and their futures • 147 graduates in 2014, including 40 ISE, ITS 43, 43 AD, 21 AT; • 125 graduates in 2013 and 140 in 2012; • 90% of professional insertion in the 6 first month for young graduates • 55% in public administration • 30% in the private administrations (business) • 9% in international organizations • 5% in the studies (Master, PhD, etc.) • 1% entrepreneurship • Establishment of a strong network of alumni "ENSEANET"

Training ENSEA: professional/continuing training • ENSEA offers a set of curricula for enhancing the skills of personnel in public and private institutions. • Through its training, ENSEA envisions to perfect the skills of statisticians, economists and many other professionals and make them discover new and specialised techniques. • These curricula are based on training modules of one week to three months each • A catalogue of professional training is distributed • We can design trainings adapted to the needs of the organisations which recourse to us • The classes can be given within companies, in Côte d’Ivoire or abroad

Research at ENSEA • ENSEA has a department in charge of research and study, with a threefold objective: • Allow teachers to conduct research to build capacity and publish the results to facilitate their professional advancement. • Initiate students with research by getting them involved in data collection activities and data analysis ; • Realising top level surveys and research activities in partnership with local and foreign centres and institutes ; • Two divisions of research: • Population and development • Applied economics

International Cooperation Opening towards the English speaking countries • Since 2008: Home English students (South Africa and Liberia) • (MOU) partnerships with Makerere University (Uganda) and Dar Es Salam EASTC (Tanzania) • Development of training programs adapted to the West African Anglophone countries (The Gambia, Ghana and Sierra Leone) and Portuguese-speaking countries (Angola, Guinea Bissau, Sao tome and Principe).

International Cooperation Support of other countries / institutions countries • Since 1984 the Vocational Training Centre of Niger; • Since 2005 the ENAREF of Burkina Faso; • Since 2010 INFA of Madagascar; • Since 2011 at the IUT of the University of Djibouti; • Contacts underway in Mali, Togo, DRC and the Comoros.
