  5. SATURDAY SCHOOL: • There will be Saturday School TOMORROW (Sat.) from 8:30 -11:30 in the REACH Room and Room 129.

  6. Come to the High School this Sunday (Oct. 13th) for another fun FCA Huddle! • We will meet in room 129 at 6:00 p.m and finish by 7:30 p.m. • Take time out of your day to enjoy friends, food, fun, Soccer, and a Bible lesson. • We hope to see you there!!!

  7. NIGHT SCHOOL • The week of October 15th, night school will be held on Monday October 15th only! • There will not be night school Tuesday October 16, Wednesday October 17th, or Thursday October 18th.

  8. Picture Re-Take Day • Monday, Oct. 14 • Room 129, 10:30-2:00 • Students - If you haven’t had your picture take yet this year, please do so at this time. If you want a re-take, please make sure to return your packet when you have your new picture taken! • Seniors – if you want a current ID, you must have your picture taken on this day. New ID’s will not be printed for student who haven’t had their pictures taken this fall. • Staff – this is your last chance to have your picture taken for a 2013-2014 ID and to have a current picture in the yearbook and on Campus! All staff are required to wear a current ID.

  9. College visits: • Tuesday – MN State – Mankato – 11:45 • “ How to complete a college application” – 12:15

  10. Math Lab • Math Lab Schedule: • Tuesday - 2:15 – 4:00 Room 226 with Mr. Otremba

  11. FLU SHOT CLINIC • There will be a flu shot clinic Tuesday October 15th from 3:30-7:30 in the cafeteria. • Open to all students, staff, parents & community members • Bring you health insurance card. • $15 for uninsured student, $30 for uninsured adult, $35 for flu mist.

  12. Attention Juniors:  • PSAT test is WED beginning at 7:35 in Room 129.  • Bring pencils and a calculator!

  13. Attention Showstoppers • The Showstoppers dance team will begin practice for all interested girls in grades 8-12 on Monday, October 21st at Park Elementary from 3:15-5:30. • All paperwork and fees need to be completed before the first day of practice. This also includes an updated physical. • There will be a parent meeting for new dancers Monday, Oct. 21st at 5:30 at Park and a parent meeting for returning dancers Wednesday Oct. 23rd at 5:30 at Park.

  14. TRACK PATCHES • Track patches are in. • Please pick them up from Lori in Activities Office.

  15. Attention Juniors: • We are seeking three Junior students to be in the McLeod for Tomorrow group. • This is an action group that works with county leaders to consider the issues of the day. • Your total commitment for a year will be 15-30 hours. • Please see Mr. Walsh if you are interested.

  17. 2012-2013 Yearbooks are here! • Didn’t pre-order a yearbook? You can get one in the Activities Office for $65. • Wanting to pick up a pre-ordered yearbook for a 2013 graduate? Graduates need to contact Lori first to give permission. • If questions, please stop in the Activities Office.

  18. Breakfast in Foyer • Check out the breakfast in the foyer from 7:10-7:30!

  19. Are you a high school (middle school) student who’s making a difference through volunteering? • If so, go to http://spirit.prudential.com to access the online application. •  The Prudential Spirit of the Community Award recognizes the top local, state and national volunteers. • The deadline for application is Tuesday, November 5, 2013.

  20. Register Your Electronic Devices! • In an effort to prevent theft, as well as increase the likelihood of retrieving stolen items, Officer Berry is offering students the opportunity to register their electronics with him. • Please see Officer Berry, Sarah or Kathy in the HS Office for the form!

  21. Register for Spooky Sprint! • Reminder to register for the Spooky Sprint on October 26th.  Kids fun run, 5k race, National Guard Obstacle course and Rock climbing wall and breakfast by Zellas!!!! • Go to www.spookysprint.org to register!   • Awards for Best Costumes!   • Time to get your SPOOK on!

  22.
