  1. Find Your Bashert

  2. Jewish Men/Women • Religious - Orthodox • Baal Teshuva • Frum From Birth • Non-Religious • Reformed • Conservative • Conservadox

  3. Jewish Dating • First Date - Meeting You • Second Date - Getting to know you • Third Date - Do you want to spend time with this person on a long term basis?

  4. Ask many questions about your potential mate : 1. Do you keep shabbos? 2. Are you heavily involved in Yitishkite? 3. How do you plan to raise a family? 4. Do want to have a big or small family? 5. Do you want to have a TV in the house when you have children? 6. Where do you want to live? 7. Which Rabbi or community do you get involved with?

  5. Enjoy yourself and don’t fantasize! Be realistic! • Always face the facts about yourself and background. Accept it because it is really you. • People have to accept you as you are. • Don’t be discouraged by anyone. Keep going strong until you find your mate. • Go to all the events you can find and you are bound to meet your BASHERT! • Learn to look for your mate with honesty and an open-mind!

  6. Make yourself into a husband/wife: Imagine yourself already married. How would you relate to your husband/wife? How would you handle him/her in various situations? Do things that he/she would consider special between you and her. Wear nice neat clothing. Make him a sandwich or something he loves to eat. Put on a pretty dress. Act warm, kind, loving and be considerate of your spouse. Respect Him/Her!!! Show compassion & caring.

  7. Let’s get to work!!! Always think marriage! Go out and FIND YOUR BASHERT! Don’t despair just go to all weddings, Bar Mitzvas and other family events that will keep you enlightened. Daven to Hashem (G-D) with Kavanah. Send prayers to the Kotel. Try being around happily married families. Stay away from people who bring you down and make you depressed. Go to all single events that you know you will enjoy. Mingle with all the shadchanim (matchmakers) all over NY. Search until you find your happiness! It’s hard work but very rewarding once you reach your goal.
