  3. The History of Taiwan • There were several nations being theruler of Taiwan many years ago. Example : Netherlander , Spanish , Japanese , etc. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ • The Portuguese once said : “Taiwan is Formosa ” Formosa means it is a beautiful island .

  4. The Cities of Taiwan • There are sixteen cities in Taiwan.

  5. The Most Famous Place in Taiwan • Taipei 101 is a landmarkskyscraper located in Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan. It is the second tallest building in the Asia.

  7. Characteristic of Tainan • Tainan is an old cultural city. It fulls of historic monuments. There are many types of historical sites. Tainan is not only famous for the historical things, but also for many kinds of snacks, like the shrimp chips, the bean pudding, the oyster omelet, etc.

  8. The Historical Sites of Tainan • The Fort Zeelandia constructed in 1624, completed in 1643. Entire castle is with the glutinous rice water, the oyster shell powder, the granulated substance and the syrup modulation .

  10. History • Tainan Municipal Houjia Junior High School was founded in 1968. It got its name because the campus site was originally planned for the green field for Houjia Park in the East District of Tainan City. Now, there are over 4,500 pupils studying in this school. It is also the biggest junior high in Tainan.
