  3. Training Each person will watch the appropriate video(s) for their role Face to face training with all proctors and school test coordinators Performance task training for our teachers will be done at the building level Read the TAM

  4. Elementary Logistics • 28 Days for our testing window • No testing April 10-11 and May 8-9 • ISAT Science needs to be fit in the window • We think we can get it done in 26 days and have 2 days for make-ups • Two testing sessions per day (morning and afternoon) • One teacher per day ELA in the morning and ELA PT in the afternoon • Each teacher will have two full days of testing • 350 Students • Approximately 50 students per day • 7 days for math and 7 days for ELA • 7 days for math PT and 7 days for ELA PT

Secondary Logistics • Challenge - Administering the Performance Task in class activity for math and AP courses multiple groups working on their grade level specific task • ISAT Science needs to be fit in the window • We have about 250 – 300 students per grade level at each secondary school • High schools will be testing a grade level per week • High schools have the capacity to test 150 students per session and complete one full test per day per grade level • Middle schools a grade level in about 8 days • It will be tight for the middle schools to get it all done in 28 days • Middle schools have the capacity to test about 90 students per session

  6. Test Sessions At the high school level we will be completely disrupting the school day for a few days in order to test an entire grade level every four days (12 days of testing) Middle schools will be following the school’s bell schedule and pause tests at the of the period. They will be doing a grade level at a time. Elementary will be doing one teacher per day and each teacher will have two full days of testing.

  7. 11th Grade Testing • SAT • SBAC • Science EOCs • How do we motivate the 11th graders to give their best effort on the test? • Be honest with them and tell them we need them to do their best and why. • The 11th graders will not start the Field Test until after they have taken the SAT

  8. Headphones As it stands now, the principals will be encouraging students to bring their own headphones. However, we will provide headphones for those that do not have them. Some of the principals have purchased headphones that are disposable and others have purchased higher end headphones that will last beyond the test administration
