  3. By end of school year 2015, 60% of migrant students are meeting standard in Reading. Reading (Priority 1)

  4. 49.5% of migrant students meeting standard in math by end of SY2015. Math (priority 1)

  5. 42.9% of migrant students will meet standard in Science by end of SY2015. Science (priority 1)

  6. 64.8% of migrant students meeting standard in Writing by end of SY2015. Writing (priority 1)

  7. Annually increase by 5% the number of migrant students who have retained their program eligibility from 9th grade to 12th and graduate with a high school diploma. GRADUATION (priority 2)

  8. Increase the percentage of migrant students who are English proficient based on annual state language assessment from 72% to 74.6%. Limited english proficient (priority 3)

  9. Provide opportunities for migrant students ages 16-21 identified as Out-of-School to enroll in public school or pursue a GED Out of school youth (priority 4)

  10. Provide nutrition and social services to migrant children in need that are not currently being addressed by other state or local resources. Advocacy and outreach (priority 4)

  11. Build the capacity of migrant parents to assist in their child’s learning. Family literacy (priority 4)

  12. Build the capacity of migrant parents to actively participate in their child’s education. Parent involvement (priority 4)

  13. All school personnel are provided professional development related to the unique characteristics of migratory culture, including Understanding Migratory Lifestyle and strategies and techniques to inform and tailor instruction. Professional development (priority 4)

  14. Increase student access to on-line programs and technology that support grade promotion and/or credit accrual. Integration of technology (priority 4)

  15. Provide migrant students/parents guidance about secondary education requirements or opportunities to enhance employment. Transition to post-secondary education or employment (priority 4)
