  2. Dear Mom, I am having the greatest time in the Mountain Basin Region of Texas! We have already visited Austin and Houston and saw the capital! We are headed to the beach soon and will stay with a friend who is a fisherman. He catches all kinds of fish that provide food for the rest of the United States! We have another friend who works pumping oil in the Gulf Coast. Speaking of, the Mountain basin region borders on the ocean to the east and Mexico on the south! How neat is that!
