  5. Icebreaker time “Name Game” DIRECTIONS • Now that you are in your circles • Starting with a classmate, we are going to go around (in the circle) • Everyone will say their NAME • And list one ADJECTIVE that describes you Examples of adjectives are(funny, bright, smart, artistic, creative, silly and etc…) • BUT…..the trick is that you have to say an adjective that starts with the first letter of your name AND you have to say the persons before you name and adjective (SO YOU BETTER PAY ATTENTION!!!) • FOR EXAMPLE My name is Stephanie, so an adjective that describes me would be “Sassy Stephanie!!”

  6. Syllabus time!!! • Go ahead back to your seats and have out your syllabus (was given to you as you walked through the door, if not I will bring you one around to your desk) • You should be on the first page • Once everyone is looking at their syllabus we can begin going over it together as a class.

Did you go anywhere special? What did you see? • What is one goal you have for this school year? How do you hope to achieve that goal? • What do you want to be when you grow up? • When I say GO…you are to ball up your piece of paper • Get out of your chair, take a pencil with you, and form another circle around the classroom • Find a partner and GIVE the ball to them • Partners are to reply with a positive comment and get back in the circle • We will read the comments out loud (make sure it is appropriate)
