UW–Madison offers instruction in more than 100 fields, with more than 4,200 course listings. Learning takes place in a variety of settings- from traditional classrooms to undergraduate research opportunities, to service-learning experiences in the community. Additional opportunities for growth range from 800 student organizations to unique residential learning communities. Henry Vilas Zoo has free admittance and has tons of animals to look at!   2. Basic City Info Parks Education • Education is important to the City of Madison. It is actually one of the most educated cities in the United States. It is easy to see why, there are so many levels of schools so people can continue their education. It seems like every area has a park that you can go to to relax, play with friends or spend time outside with your family! There are various parks and locations that meet specific needs of certain groups. For those who have dogs there are specific places just for them to run free! Madison also has a community pool called Goodman. Madison makes an effort to help it’s community stay active in clean areas!
