  9. ALL students of the South Conway County School District (SCCSD) will receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at NO CHARGE for the 2018-2019 school year.

  10. Instruction Time at MES Our school day begins at 8:00 a.m. (arrive at 7:30-7:45 for breakfast) and ends at 3:20 p.m. If your child is late or leaves early, he/she may be counted absent. Wonderful Wednesdays occur each month! See our calendar! See District Absence/Tardy Policies 4.07/4.09

Pick-up/Drop-off Procedures • When picking up your child, please have the name tag visible to our duty staff. • Remember that the law prohibits cell phone use (except hands-free) in a school zone. • Unload/Load several cars at once. • Students may NOT be dropped off at the front door until 7:15 each morning.

  14. Smart core curriculum District Policy 4.45.1 • Smart Core is the default option. • Choose before entering grade 7. • Must sign a waiver to opt out of Smart Core. • May not qualify for scholarships or college admission if Core curriculum is taken.

  15. Registration • New students to the district, please go to the office. Also, if you have not registered online, they will help you. • Teachers have the signature sheets that must be signed and returned as soon as possible. • Please fill out the Student Information Card before you leave this evening. • The nurse will only schedule appointments tonight if your child has a health plan.

  16. All PK-6 buildings will be Allergy Aware this year!! Please help us educate our students about the safety rules!!
