At a time when new powers are emerging and the international system is undergoing profound changes, the Scorecard is intended to raise awareness of the existence of a European foreign policy and to encourage a debate about the best policies to be pursued in defence of our values and interests. Last year’s first edition of the Scorecard was described by Foreign Affairs as a “pioneering experiment in foreign policy analysis”.The publication of the second edition will allow for comparison and for the first time also look at European policy in the Middle East and North Africa in a pivotal year for the region. Speakers will discuss the findings of this year’s scorecard and assess the effectiveness of European foreign policy in 2011.  This is a free and open public lecture. No ticket required.
