The Career Resource Center No-fee, self-service center for: • Job-search related use of computers, phones and office equipment • Assistance with Unemployment Insurance filing • Information on and referral to workshops, job search clubs, support groups, training classes and other services • Information about local labor markets, in-demand occupations and job search strategies • Information on services available through the MEC network of agencies

Training Funds • The best way to learn about education and training opportunities is to attend the Training Opportunities Information Session (TOIS). • Here, you will learn about the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and the California Training Benefits (CTB) and if you might be eligible for these training services. • The session also covers career planning, how to research labor market information and how to apply for training services. • Sessions are the fourth Tuesdays of every month, from 1:30 to 3:00 pm.
