Michigan’s Current Goals for Borders • Assure adequate transportation capacity. • Protect and upgrade border facilities. • Study needs to improve and expand facilities. • Enhance collaboration, coordination and communication with stakeholder groups. • Collaborate with partners. • Increase federal funding for borders. • Cooperate with agencies to improve flow of trade while maintaining national security.
