  2. Survey Highlights • Survey given out to all computer information systems majors and minors. • 231 total recipients • 58 have responded • 25% responded

Initial awareness ‘other’ comments • A tour of KSU College of Business while a senior in high school. • Campus tour while in high school. • My high school guidance counselor and my own research. • I knew what I wanted to do without anyone’s help. • Kent State tutor. • High school class. • My major at another university. • Poster in BSA hallway. • It was the degree for people who wanted to work in IT, I have been working in IT for about 3 years. • I wanted to learn more, and it pairs well with my major (accounting).

  4. Other Interesting Conclusions • 29 students responded said “I have grown up with a passion for IT and knew I always wanted to into this field” in question 2 • 7 Said they attend MISA weekly. • 11 students responded said they have another major or minor in question 1. Of these 11 responders • 10 said “My class schedule conflicts with MISA meetings”
