  3. What Can We Do? What Can Anyone Do? • Anyone can labor and strive for the Lord • Colossians 1:29 (NKJV) 29  To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily.

  4. What Can We Do? What Can Anyone Do? • Anyone can walk in the Lord • Colossians 2:6-7 (KJV) 6  As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7  Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

What Can Anyone Do? • Anyone can be part of Christ’s way • Colossians 3:1-4 (NKJV) 1  If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2  Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3  For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4  When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

What Can Anyone Do? • Anyone can put on the “NEW MAN” and all that brings • Colossians 3:10 (KJV) 10  And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: • Colossians 3:10 (NASB77) 10  and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him

Anyone can put on the “NEW MAN” and all that brings Colossians 3:12-17 (NKJV) 12  Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 13  bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.14  But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. 15  And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. 16  Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17  And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

What Can Anyone Do? • Anyone can do their best • Colossians 3:23 (KJV) 23  And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; • Hebrews 12:1-2 (KJV) 1  Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

What Can Anyone Do? • Anyone can reap the blessings or face the music • Colossians 3:24-25 (NKJV) 24  knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. 25  But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality.
