  2. Think about any inspirational speeches you have ever seen/heard. What made them great? With a partner, list the traits of a good inspirational speech.

  3. Any examples of inspirational speeches? What was the most inspiring speech you have ever heard? How and why did it affect you?

  4. Inspirational Speeches From Movies and TV As you watch the video, think about what you’re feeling, and what the speakers are doing to make you feel that way.

Emulate your favorite inspirational speech from a TV show / movie/ history / wherever! • You have the rest of the period to research your speech using a laptop/smart phone. • Search google or check the TV Tropes website (search “Rousing speech”) if you have trouble starting. • You don’t have to copy the speech line by line. Adding your own spin or changing the flow of the speech is entirely up to you. • 1 minute mininum, 2 minute speech max! • On Wednesday, I will check the notes that you have. • We will present on Friday 
