Healthcare Grant Application(Submitted Oct 2 for Oct 5 deadline) • Commonwealth Partnership for Long Term Care Careers • Funding sought = $4.96 Million • Activities: • Training, Coaching and retention services for unemployed and under-employed workers to place into entry-level jobs (CNAs, Home Health Aides, Homemaker/Personal Care Homemaker) • Training and coaching for incumbent workers for advancement (to Advanced Home Health Aide, LPN, RN) • Developing modular short skills for Personal Care Attendants to enable unemployed, under-employed to secure jobs • Key Outcomes Targeted • # Participants receiving credentials/certificate/degree 779 • Job placement 401 • Advancement 303

Clean Energy Grant Application(Due October 20) • Single application from each state • $2-6 Million each grant; Total $190 Million • 5 WIB-led regional partnerships: • North Shore, Merrimack Valley, Gr. Lowell • Brockton, Gr. New Bedford, South Coastal, Bristol, Cape Cod • Boston, Metro North, Metro South-West • Franklin-Hampshire, North Central, Berkshire • Hamden, Central Massachusetts.
