This project is an introduction to Grade 5, Theme 3 “A Changing Planet.” Students create a Power Point presentation formatted as a recipe used to apply to an elite science camp. They begin research with non-fiction texts, searching for the following ingredients (things necessary for the occurrence), step-by-step instructions for the occurrence, and causes and effects of it.
