  2. Tourism around the world is so popular that in certain places, it affects and even causes damage to the sights that the tourists have come to see. It is important to think about the economic, cultural and environmental effects of being a tourist.

Some suggestions on how to be a green tourist • Use public transport • Stay in small hotels and eat local food • Think of yourself as a guest, not a tourist • Find out about the place you are visiting • Travel out of season • Use less water than at home • Be careful about taking photos • Adopt the local lifestyle • Use local guide

  4. Some Instructions of being a green tourist 1. When you book your hotel, ask about their environmental policies and practices
