  1. Best online jobs and part time work at home Some of the best job sites are traditional job boards, like Dice and CareerBuilder. Others, like Indeed, allow you to search through many job boards, company career sites, associations, and other sources of job postings. You can even search directly on Google to find job opportunities. Lots of office jobs primarily revolve around doing tasks on a computer –why shouldn’t you get paid to do the same thing at home? If you’re providing a valuable service that you can do online, why shouldn’t you be financially compensated for the value you’ve providing? Starting my sophomore year, however, I got my first taste of online jobs when I started writing for this website. While it would take a few more years for that to turn into my main job, I was forever hooked on the flexibility that online work offers. How to get the job: Start your own blog and write articles for it. You’ll get tons of writing experience, and you don’t need anyone’s permission to publish what you write. You can use our comprehensive website building guide to get started –once you’ve built a site, it’s easy to add a blog in seconds. Then, use those articles to put together a portfolio. If you need inspiration, check out our showcase of more than 50 portfolio examples. Finally, start pitching your work to websites – use contact forms to reach out, or build relationships with editors and bloggers on Twitter. For more on this step, listen to our podcast interview with Aja Frost, who build a thriving freelance writing business while she was still in college. For step-by-step help starting your freelance writing career, check out this course my friends Kristin and Alex created. It covers everything from building your portfolio to finding your first clients. 1.Online Tutor If you’re doing well in college, it’s easy to think everyone else is too, but the truth is that many people struggle with passing their courses. You could make a living by helping them out and teaching them what you know. But don’t stop with fellow college students. You can also teach kids – from elementary school to high school, there are plenty of kids who could use your help. Thankfully, with the Internet, you don’t have to be limited to your local geographic area. You can teach kids and people from all over the world. 2.Indeed Indeed is a leading job site with millions of job listings from thousands of websites, including company career sites, job boards, newspaper classifieds, associations, and other online sources of job postings.

  2. Users can also upload a resume and get a personalized resume link to share with employers. You can also apply for jobs, research salaries and job trends, set up job alerts, and use Indeed's job search app for mobile job hunting. 3.Upwork Upwork has tapped the trend towards freelance labor and gig-based opportunities by creating a marketplace to connect freelancers with employers who have projects to offer. Freelance workers can search for projects based on categories like web and software development, data science and analytics, admin support, writing, sales/marketing, design/creative, customer service, legal, and accounting/consulting. 4.Amazon Yet another big name you can’t afford to pass up. Amazon has hundreds of full-time and part-time online job positions available. Their virtual jobs span everything from business development to IT to human resources. On top of that, their subsidiary Mechanical Turk offers some awesome online data entry jobs. 5. Photographer One of the fasting-growing online markets is stock photography. According to Technavio, the business of selling stock photos will exceed $4 billion by 2020. Businesses need quality stock photos for their websites, client presentations, and more. If you love being behind a camera — even the one your smartphone you can get paid for uploading quality photos to stock photo sites. You’ll earn anywhere between 20 and 50 cents per image sold. So, the goal is to have dozens of photos for sale, each generating commissions for you daily. This makes selling stock photography a great source of passive income, because you can get paid over and over again for work you only did once.
