A Little About DRIE Ottawa • Began many years ago (can’t get an exact date but definitely by 1992) with a few people • Like Toronto, many of our founding Executive and current members have been or are currently involved with DRI • Similar to DRIE Toronto except • 3 quarterly meetings held in the morning • 1 full day – end of May • Executive are not voted in by membership • Passive web presence & membership management system since 2002 with on-line event registration & membership payments since last year

Wednesday, March 5, 2008 Assistant Commissioner John Neily, previously in charge of the RCMP's Operational Readiness and Response Coordination Centre (ORRCC), will speak on BCP and preparedness in an Emergency Response organisation and W. Todd Moxley, now retired Lieutenant-Colonel from the Canadian Forces (CF), will speak on Decision Making in a Crisis.
