  2. Go to www.ePals.com Go to Global Community

  3. At Global Community – already a member, log in to your account. • If not, sign up.

  4. Sign Up Sign In

  5. Complete registration form to Sign Up.

Creating Student Accounts Creating student accounts is quick and easy. • For step-by-step instructions and a video tutorial for creating personalized student accountsand deleting the generic numbered accounts go to: • http://en.community.epals.com/epals/support/p/set-up-on-epals.aspx#createStudentAccounts. • For help emailJustin Hilljhill@corp.epals.com • Subject: China Collaboration F2013 • Include: List of your student’s names, first and last.

  7. Your classroom is on your Home Page. Find My Projects

  8. Click on View All

  9. Click View More in Project Participant

  10. Project Workspaces US/China Class Workspace - collaborate with your partner school in China. US/China Teacher Workspace - share and exchange teaching ideas and stories. Public Workspace - teachers and students see and comment on each other’s work. Note:Public Workspace will not be available until the 4th week of the program.

  11. For this demonstration, Green - US/China Teacher Workspace, Yellow - US/China Class Workspace, Blue – Public Workspace. When we match your school in China, you will seeyour name and your partner teacher’s name on each workspace. Open to all teachers Open to teachers in the same group Open to all teachers and students

  12. Go to the Workspace - When we match your school in China, you will see your name and your partner teacher’s name on each workspace. Open to all teachers Open to teachers in the same group Open to all teachers and students

  13. Enter the group for Blogs, Discussions, Resources, Calendar and Wiki.

  14. Go to Resources to find US Teacher Resources (code USA).

  15. Open the file. File Code is USA. Contains – PowerPoint(s), lesson plans, training material and other resources.

  16. Share ideas or ask questions. Click on Discussion.

  17. Respond to a post. Click on the title.

  18. Rate the post. Click on the stars. Comment in the text box.
