  2. Entrance Examinations and Registration Process The first step in the registration process is the completion of an application. All interested persons must complete an application for admission. Administration determines the dates for entrance exams for prospective students. The entrance exam is the second part of the admissions process.A twenty- five dollar ($25) registration fee and fifty dollar ($50) seat fee are required of all new students. These fees also apply to students who withdrew from the school and wish to re-enroll. For Further information please contact our Office

Curriculum The daily schedule will be from 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and 7.00 p.m. to 8.15 p.m for College Preparation.We utilize a Self-Paced, No-Boundary System, where students will receive individualized and small-group tutoring in weak subject areas. In addition, there will be two mandatory Reading sessions as well as SAT and AP preparation during this hour. High School This will comprise the following Grades: Grade Nine (9)-Freshman Grade Ten (10)-Sophomore Grade Eleven (11)-Junior Grade Twelve (12)-Senior High School students will be prepared for the (BJC’s),Bahamas General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE) Examinations, a Cambridge University Syndicate. In addition, SAT and AP preparation will begin in either the Sophomore or Junior year.

  4. Special Programs 1. Special programs will include joint initiatives with the Ministry of Education and Sports in Havana Cuba which is also a part of our college preparation program. Scholarships are available through our program for all graduating students who would wish to study in any sporting field such as Sports Physiotherapy, Physical Education etc. 2.Our Head Start Program that collaborates with Niagara College will also include scheduled campus tours of Niagara College. Scholarships will also be available for the top athletic and academic students each year to Niagara College. 3.Alternative Learning Programme - This programme will give young men the attention and the support they need to succeed, and that they often do not receive in the traditional school system. 4. Work Attachments will provide students with hands-on experience. 5.Twinning Program - A Twinning Program will be initiated between NPA and Ridley College facilitating networking, student and faculty exchange programs 6.Immersion Program - Foreign Language students will be able to spend scheduled periods in Spanish and French speaking countries in the wake of strengthening their foreign language proficiency.
