  2. About Us • HouseCalls Home Care is a full-service New York State licensed Home Care agency that provides a wide range of home health services. They include home health aides, nursing, nutrition, rehabilitation, and social work. HouseCalls Home Care also offers durable medical equipment (DME) for the home.

  3. Home Health Aide • If you’re not home during the day, certified home health aides can provide your loved one with companionship or assistance with activities of daily living, or help to get to and from appointments and outings. Aides can: • Assist with bathing and dressing, meal preparation, using the toilet, errands, light housekeeping, and eating • Offer reminders to take medications • Assist with medical equipment • Provide companionship, such as sharing afternoon tea, helping with crossword puzzles and accompanying outside of the home

  4. Home Nursing Care • HouseCalls Home Care works around your schedule to meet your needs. In addition to receiving Home Health Aide services, we can assist with getting approved nursing visits from your insurance company to help with the following services: • Monitor vital signs • Changing dressing for wounds • Administering medications, injections, or other treatments • G-tube feeding • Nurses will schedule visits with the client every 90 days.

  5. CDPAP • The CDPAP, otherwise known as the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program, is a New York State Medicaid program designed to allow consumers to recruit, hire, and oversee their home care workers. One of the biggest highlights of the CDPAP program is that consumers in the program may employ family members, friends, and other trusted individuals to administer the care being given to them.
