  2. It’s is a known issue that whenever you open your computer, many programs start running in the background automatically. While most of them are necessary there exists others also which are totally irrelevant and takes a lot of your computers RAM. You can stop unnecessary programs and applications from starting up in the background by following the below guide.

First of all, click Start and then go to the Control panel. • Click on the Uninstall a program option below Programs tab. • From the installed programs list look for the application you think is unnecessary and then click on it to remove the program. • Now click on the Uninstall option and follow the on-screen prompts carefully to remove the application from your device.

After that, remove all other irrelevant apps one by one and then close all the tabs. • Now to prevent programs from starting automatically after opening Your Laptop, at first right-click in an open area on your desktop and then click on New and then Folder to create a folder on your desktop. • Make sure you name the folder Notstartup and then leave it there for now. • Now click on Start and then select All Programs. • Then you need to right-click on Startup and then click Open.

Right click on the icon which indicates programs that load when Windows opens and then click on Properties. • Right-click on the program which you do not want to open automatically and then select Cut. • Paste all such apps into the Notstartup folder one by one and then simply restart your computer. • Now, your issue is solved and the items you moved from Startup to Notstartup folder will not start with Windows automatically. In order to open any app from Notstartup folder, you can simply double-click on it to open.
